Veterinarian:
Lansdowne Animal Hospital is an independently owned veterinary clinic with a strong connection to our community. We have been providing compassionate veterinary care for small companion animals in Old Ottawa South since 1995.
We are looking to welcome a new Associate Veterinarian to our general practice team of 15 staff and veterinarians. We are happy to welcome newly graduated students and offer them mentorship support and ongoing education.
We are a well-equipped modern practice, that strives to give the highest level of care to our patients. We have fully furnished surgical and dental suites, and laboratory, plus digital body and dental radiography, and onsite ultrasound equipment.
Currently we have two full-time and one part-time veterinarians, and a team with experienced support staff. We have a loyal client base and welcome new clients.
We offer a Team Medicine approach where a Veterinary Assistant will help in all consultations collecting history and taking notes while you examine.
You would work a regular schedule of 30-40 hours per week, working days and evenings not later than 7pm, and a rotation of Saturdays. Saturday evenings and Sundays are always off.
We are located within a thriving neighborhood with many small local shops to take a break or grab lunch. We are a quick walk to the Rideau Canal and the Glebe neighborhood.

We are a friendly general practice team of 3 veterinarians and 13 staff looking to welcome a new Veterinary Technician!
We are a well-equipped modern practice, that strives to give the highest level of care to our patients. We have fully furnished surgical and dental suites, and laboratory, plus digital body and dental radiography, and onsite ultrasound equipment.
The ideal candidate would be positive, professional, empathetic, reliable, and have good verbal and written communication skills. Candidates must have graduated from an accredited Veterinary Technician program. Applicants with relevant work experience are preferred.
Hospital hours are currently 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday to Thursday, 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Fridays, and 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Saturdays. We are always closed Saturday evenings and Sundays.
We offer a competitive wage up to $30 per hour based on candidate experience and a signing bonus! Employees can enjoy many benefits including paid lunch breaks, sick days, vacation days, and scrubs. Receptionist

We are a friendly general practice team of 3 veterinarians and 13 staff looking to welcome a new Full-Time Veterinary Receptionist!
The ideal candidate would be positive, professional, empathetic, reliable, organized, and have good verbal and written communication skills. They would be able to problem-solve and multi-task effectively in a fast-paced environment. The candidate would be friendly and efficient communicating with clients by phone, email, or in person and documenting or relaying information to the team as needed.
Applicants with veterinary reception experience are strongly preferred however other combinations of experience may be acceptable such as experience in human medical reception, office administration, or customer service, AND knowledge of companion animals’ (dogs and cats) medical care.
Work hours may be between 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday to Friday and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturdays. We are always closed Saturday evenings and Sunday. Applicants must have flexible availability and be able to work 30-40 hours per week as needed.
